I heard that the voice over guy died a while back. So it would make sense that since that happened, unless they decide to replace him, they would just kill off his character.

That was a rumour. Jim French is alive and well and making radio shows. They couldn't get him in time for Crash Course which is where the "he's dead" rumour came from.

Frankly I think it's about time for Bill to take a rest. There are many things supporting the fact Bill may be the one who dies.

shows what I hope to be Zoey in the background as from what we can tell the LFD1 survivors will be covering you from an advantageous point. This supports the fact that she survives.

Somewhere on Youtube is an interview with Louis's voice actor where he says he will be making an appearance in Left 4 Dead 2

Francis is semi confirmed as Chet said in an interview about Zoey and Francis interacting with the Left 4 Dead 2 survivors.

Which leaves ONLY Bill to an unconfirmed fate.

But then again who knows, people may have thought they outsmarted Valve by looking at the back of the poster too see the missing LFD1 survivors missing silhouette. But Valve has made multiple posters each with different combinations of the three remaining survivors.

well just because it says a survivor is dying doesnt mean its a l4d1, survivors count as the guy in the church of death toll.

If this is the case, then NO ONE can be upset, and the comic's unveiling who officially dies will still be a nice surprise rather than a formality.

Why would they bother not revealing the comic first, if the Passing was going to give the secret of who dies officially away in the first place?

They're doing the comic to show you the canon outcome. In all versions of the story SOMEONE is dead. It's just going to vary I guess.

We'll have to wait and see tomorrow for sure, but I'm guessing this is the best way to avoid backlash. All four characters have strong fan followings. Perhaps Valve are just being sneaky...

This has been a very interesting and confusing debate but my guesses are as good as everyone elses. It would be a shame if one fixed survivor died, so i would like it if it was random, that way no-one is dissapointed if their favourite character *points at BillzHere* dies. And also it would be better.

I can confirm this poster changes every few hours, with the survivors swapping in and out. So far I've seen everyone missing at least one with the ironic exception of Bill.
