Scavenge Thread

This thread is dedicated to Scavenge strategies, gliches, funny stories etc. So let's hear yours. I'll start.


-one time when playing, a member of the other team was smoked just as the round ended. For the rest of the game he had a smoker tongue stretching from his foot across the whole level. I didn't matter if he was a survivor or infected. it was a nice arrow pointing right at him.

-i was in a the dark carnival hotel level and witnessed a pretty cool trick. from the pool you can throw a pipebomb behind the gas tanks on the bilboard before the level even starts. if done correctly the blast will throw the cans just outside the pool area. they will still be highlighted in white, preventing spitters from lighting them up. I have yet to do it successfully myself, so any tips would be great.

-a group of us were infected (no boomers at the time). we each picked a different survivor, hit them all at the same time. they were down in about 20 sec from starting the level. it was great.

I was playing on the Dark Carnival Hotel level as an infected and I noticed that Rochelle's player was staning on the billboard with the grenade launcher. She was picking off my team mate everytime he spawned whilst her friends ran around and got the cans. I smokered her from the corner of the billboard to prevent her from seeing me, and her team mates let me finish her off.

I then proceeded to smoke each of the survivors, now with the help of the previously grenaded infected team mate and once again, not one of them tried to help their team mates. With Rochelle's player out the way we even managed to prevent them scoring anymore gas cans.

I felt kinda bad for Ro. It must suck having to carry an entire team on your own.

Anyone else try this? Start of DarCar Motel map as survivors. Grab a pipe bomb. Before you cross the start line you can throw the pipe bomb at the cans on the billboard. If you hit them it blows them all the way over to the pool! 3 of the hardest cans FREE!!! It's cheap as hell but fun to try out!
