Expert mode? Wha...

Okay, so I absolutely love the L4D survivors AND the original game, and so do my two buddies Arrow and Dark. Dark had been away for a few months at university and Arrow had lost his Live account. So anyway, I went on my Xbox yesterday when a message pings up, and Dark's invited me to play L4D2.

Loading screen comes up, and we're in Dead Center 3 on Expert. Ya'll know how annoying that level is on Expert.
Turns out Arrow has made an alt too, so we're all pretty happy. We used to play the original together a lot.

However, after seven attempts to make it past the crescendo event with a random, we decide to say "screw this" and go back to Left 4 Dead for some Expert mode.

We ace Death Toll first(all Expert, no easy-expert campaign glitch), nabbing Dark, our resident Zoey, the Zombicidal Maniac achievement. Arrow, our Louis, wasn't so lucky-He jumped into the boat whilst it was moving and it launched him across the map into the zombie horde.

Is this a know glitch? Anyway, we have to...ahem...leave him 4 dead(Dark shoots him) and escape as a party of two(RIP AI Francis). We then go onto No Mercy, and blitz through it with relevent ease. Everyone(bar AI Francis) makes it to the helipad, and we all escape together. Arrow gets his zombicidal maniac.

So we try Dead Air. Again, managed to do it pretty easy all the way through expert and all escape(again, bar AI Francis) with only a few restarts(awkward Tanks during horde events mostly screwed us).

We didn't have time for Blood Harvest, but I can pretty much conclude that either L4D2 is THAT much harder, or we improved a lot somehow over the past six months(which would be odd considering I'm the only one who's had access to the game for some time).

TL;DR version:
Anyone else find Expert mode in this game more enjoyable and perhaps less stressful than L4D2?

Yesterday i got bored, and i started to play left 4 dead 1 no mercy on expert in offline solo. i got to the top of the elevator when a tank came and i was the last survivor. I found a pretty sweet spot while waiting for the elevator. Add me (ColdHaze) if you want to see it.

Just played my third expert run: Dead Air. I had to go through it twice because my Xbox went demon on me. I had to go through several players just to get through one expert run. During the third level my second time, there was team killing and sacrifice. My funniest moment was my bold sacrifice for the team. A Tank was coming towards us, and none of us had molotovs, but I found a barrel of fire. Instead of standing next to it, I stood on top of it to trick the Tank into jumping on. He did. The final level, plenty of things happen. Had to kill an AI bot to do the Jesus Plane, one of my players died off of the Jesus Plane because he accidentally idol. He went off the plane and died. We get to the end of the expert run, I throw my pipe bomb along with Jets. I got hunted on the steps to the plane, had only 20 health. It two me two huge restarts, 20+ restarts in game, and I managed to survive. If I had died on the plane, I would have wasted 3 whole hours on a worthless game, but I was lucky and made it to the end.

i was helping Drumrush on blood harvest and so we had a tank in the finale and i survived it by the corner rock. so im left alone to get to the house. i run towards the trains, "incoming attack" i start to kill them. "hunter alert" "hunter Death". Boomer comes and dies, still 100% health, i get smoked,but killed the smoker as i was being smoked. i continue on another hunter melee'd it and killed it. i got smoked and killed it not im down to 80 health, boomer finaly gets me and then im downed ;l

Pretty embarrassing to get killed by the horde. It happens. But being able to shot 2 smokers and survive is pro tactics at its best. Nice job trying to get through Blood Harvest with me ColdHaze.

Just completed my last expert run today on Blood Harvest making it my last and totally legit expert run. The teams and players that I've been getting have been disappointing, but with luck, the randoms I got were some of the best. One of my teammates had the most trouble in this campaign, but we all made it to the end, I got "What are you trying to prove?", and made a few more friends.

All L4D expert runs were totally legit and only used the Jesus Spot as a form of advantage.

No mass glitch was done(I was going too but got sick of it).

All levels complete, plus 1 achievement left.

The reasons it's "less stressful" mainly is because Left 4 Dead is a ridiculously easy game compared to Left 4 Dead 2 in every way possible. Even the infected A.I in Left 4 Dead are useless in Expert Campaigns the only thing that poses a threat is the Tank and Witch. Left 4 Dead 2 fixes the Survivors the way they should have been all this time. Not overpowered that's why the Expert campaigns are so easy.

also i found out (i didnt kno u may have) if ur playing dead air on any thing but expert (bcause ur probly usin a jesus spot) when u hear tank music get on top of 1 of the crashed planes cause tanks have a very hard time getting
on planes.
