Orange Box?

Post by Silent Kill 493 on March 29th 2010, 4:19 pm

I've been thinking about getting the orange box with half life part two team fortress and portal but I'm not really sure if it's good or if I should get it

Suggestions? Thanks

Yes.
A thousand times yes.

Granted, I haven't got heavily into Half life, but you'll certainly get your money's worth with this game.

Portal is an amazing little puzzle game that makes you think and is pretty amazing. A must play.

Team Fortress 2(less content) will keep you playing for ages, the replay value really is in this title.

At current I have clocked over 65 hours with Medic alone, 39 with Pyro, 20 with Heavy and about 19-17 with everyone other than Sniper who comes in at a lame 5 hours.

There's few titles I can recommend as highly as the orange box, and few games I have clocked as many hours with(outside of both Left 4 Deads).

It's by Valve just like Left 4 Dead, so you really shouldn't go far wrong with this purchase.

Portal alone is worth the price of admission! And since it's been out for so long you could probably pick up a used copy for 20 bucks!

Oh, and if you need anyone to play Team Fortress 2 with on Xbox, I'm more than happy to show you the ropes to help you get started.

Presuming you're getting the xbox Orange box that is.

But yes, each and every game in there is pretty much worth the money alone. Highly addictive.

5 games for anywhere between 15 and 50 dollars (whether new or used) is an amazing deal. considering that each game would go for 60 on its own the total price would be 300 dollars

Even if you don't like FPS games you should buy the orange box. It's the best deal in gaming EVER!!!

You should definitely get this game. It has some of Valves first and new games put into one package. It only costs $19.99 right now, and that's for a new copy, and you get 5 games for the price of 1.
