[solved]Original Xbox Live servers shutting down on 4/15/10

The original Xbox Live servers are shutting down for good, and you should really get back on your Xbox while you can. You will no longer be able to play Halo 2 online with others. Any previous games you own will no longer have online support, so you'll either have to go local, or system link only. Start playing as long as you can. This is happened so new and more content can be distributed at once, and allow more friends on the 360.
Do you hate the shutdown or are you glad the servers are going to die?

If you really care for your Xbox, you should play one last game on live 4/14/10 so that you can experience the last minutes of Xbox Live.

Microsoft announced it. And personally i'm glad. No more original xblive support=more xbox360 live support

Now that you know it is official, get ready for more 360 carnage. Double friends list, more events, updates, features, etc. When it shuts down, I get to start making more friends again. Hopefully, I can see 100 people online, and at least one person playing the same game as me.

I'm surprised they had it going this long. I thought that they would have the servers on for like 3 years and then take it down.

Another thing. Now that we get more 360 support, more friends, and more entertainment. Just make sure you play one final game on original Live so that it doesn't go to waste. I also heard that if you have played Halo 2 online, you can get stuff like MP added to your new account and a few extras. (MP = Microsoft Points)

nice, but halo still sucks.

Yeah. I like Halo, it's a great game, but at the same time, it feels stale for some reason, and that's why I'll be waiting for Reach.

Somehow Halo was still going strong on April 15th, but the servers should offline right now, and we should further details in the future. Goodbye Xbox, hello Xbox 360 live.

When are the 360 updates supposed to take place? My friends list is always filling up, and I have to make decisions on who to remove.
