Question about the finales.

The question is: "Do you only have to have been in the escape vechicle
once for it to count that you escaped?"

Only asking because it's happened twice now, I have jumped off the vechile in a vain
attempt to save some team mates and the helicoptor or boat have just
left the finale and I've apparently survived the encounter, even though I
had jumped off and was fighting off a hoard at that time. Can anyone confirm this?

I dont think that i am an expert...but i think i know the answer...its like when you get downed in the saferoom....sometimes you still get the bonus for surviving...sometimes you dont...so i personally think that as long as you were on there at one point or another...you count as "surviving" but then again i really dont know to be sure...i just thought id give it a shot.

Can't say I've ever got this to work for me, but it's definitely something to try I s'pose.

Maybe it's the exact opposite of being incapped in the rescue ride? I mean, we all know getting incapped, BUT STILL BEING ALIVE, in the vehicle counts as not surviving. Maybe the game registers you as on the vehicle, even when you get off, for a small amount of time?
