I've revised the forum rules that you have to agree to upon registration. Please read below...


Post in the right place. If you're making a new topic, be sure you post it in the category that best fits.

No trash talk of any kind. We'd like to keep our L4D community as nice and friendly as possible. Please don't direct any hateful comments towards other users. Any criticism on this forum must be constructive.

No flooding. There's no need for you to post on every single topic every day. If you post too much within a certain amount of time, it will result in a temporary ban of your account.

No spamming. Don't post just for the sake of posting or to build up your rank. We notice useless posts and take care of them quickly.

No duplicate posting. Before you post something. Look around the forum and use the Search functionality to make sure someone else hasn't already posted it. More importantly, make sure it's not already on our site. We worked hard on the core content we have on our site, so don't duplicate it here.

No advertising. We encourage you to discuss things that you might find on other sites/forums, but don't link back to them if possible and don't try to get people to visit your website or view your videos. If you want to advertise on our site, send us an email and we might work something out.

Leave the admin stuff to us. We don't need any help moderating our forums. Although we appreciate your concerns, we have everything under control. Please don't post any messages that would make you look like a site admin or moderator.

YouTube Rules: If you make a YouTube video that you'd like to share with the community on our forums, feel free to post it. You can embed it into a post or you can link back to it. We only ask that you only post it on one place. Please don't try to get everyone to view your videos just to get your view count up.

Strategies: If you have a new strategy, feel free to post it on our forums. Before you do, check out the Strategy section of our site and make sure we don't already have it somewhere. We encourage you to send your strategy to us so that we might post it on our site, rather than have it on the forums.

Sorry Zach, but can we add "No replying to yourself" to the rules? I know this comes under flooding, but I really feel this needs to be specifically stated too, else people will reply to dead topics that they were the last to post in.

I don't know if this was directed at me as such but i don't wanna make u guys feel like im spamming/flooding the forums im just replying or asking for help/question, im here to have fun and enjoy the forum like everyone else
