Favorite Zombie Movie

I've always been sort of a movie buff, so I thought it'd be fun for everyone to post their fav zombie movie.

Although this is the most recent, but best zombie movie I've seen so far, I would have to go with Zombieland. With its great sense of humor, parody's, action, gore, and awesomeness, it's no wonder why it's one of the best movies.

Shaun of the Dead. Simon Pegg with a cricket bat running around trying to fix his life whilst pesky zombies try to get in his way? Hell yes.

I'd also recommend Dead Set, a made for TV Zombie Movie in Great Britain. Big Brother contestants have been seperated from the outside world...turns out everyone's infected and undead. Not as comedic as it sounds, it's actually genuinely quite gripping at times.
Youtube it. The incredible Charlie Brooker wrote and directed this.

I have yet to see Zombieland. Should be seeing it this month.

Diary of the dead was a sweet movie aswell

Anybody seen Fido? It's a terrible movie but the concept is really interesting. Basically, they found a way to put a special collar on zombies to domesticate them. Then everyone gets zombies and uses them as pets or servants or shit.

There's also this film from a zombie's point of view. That's right, the main protagonist is a zombie during the apocolypse. Concept wise it sounds intriguing, although I get the feeling it'll suck. I'll find out the name and get back to you all.

I LOVE Dawn of the Dead (2006)!! The whole movie is just awesome IMO. 28 Days Later is second in my list... great movie! Zombieland comes third.

Actually i should just put them all in first place...since they are all good!

ZombieLand was so Funny its baisically real life L4D lol. I like also 28 days & weeks later, Resident Evil 1-3, shaun of the dead. There is another one i like what BillzHere mentioned further up, i Think its called Day of the dead and theres 1 Zombie and he has intelligence and he leads the other zombies, its an ok film.

Not zombies, modified rabies or "rage virus", just like l4d. My favorites are the original dawn of the dead, Zombi 2 (a zombie fights a shark! ftw), and Shaun of the dead.

meh, technical zombie or not, it still fits in the Zombie genre.

Any George Romero movie, 28 days/weeks later, The first 2 Resident evil movies (the third one was ok but having Alice getting super powers was the stupidest idea.) and any other zombie movie.

Mentioned it else where, but Versus.

A japanese film, Versus has zombies. WITH GUNS. Because regular zombies weren't deadly enough, they can now use firepower.

Good blend of awesome fight sequences and black humour.
