...who join a game for a half a second and then quit AFTER you've started the match so that your game either freezes or loads for a very long time before the server shuts down and takes you BACK to the lobby. Honestly. You're two splitscreeners. There were two spots. Who the hell else are you waitin' for bitches?

Lots of douchebags, yes. However, things are amazing back in Orig. L4D land. Played yesterday and people were joining super quick and starting the game immediately. I doubt it's going to be a permanent change, but a light of hope? Definitely.

Entire teams who quit after the first level if they're losing even if it's by the tiniest margin. If you get totally steamrolled, I can understand the frustration, but if it's a measly 50 points...

Not to mention people who purposely kill themselves as Survivors so they can play the Infected again.

Or even worse, kill themselves and THEN leave so you're down a player for the next Infected turn. Got to love those guys.

Team vs. seemed like a great idea at first but actually ending up against a challenging team is like trying to find a unicorn. If you're going to bother getting people you play well with together don't freakin' quit when you lose the first map!

We didn't reach our skill level by running away when we got wrecked. And we've been friggin' wrecked before I'll tell you whut.... The sad part is many teams aren't that bad on a basic skill level. They just lack strategy and timing. Every time we've lost a game we've gotten a little bit better. Eventually you end up winning more than loosing.
What they really need is a ranking system. Seems like it would make random team games a bit more challenging.

Orange Box tried a ranked match mode with Team Fortress 2. I can't talk for PC, but I know the 360's one is never used.

I heard the best way to do Team Versus due to all the quitters is Scavenge with a singular round, seeing as people rarely leave THAT quick. It's still a total pain though and one we shouldn't have to deal with.

Yeah I hate when a team joins the game in the lobby the kills itself and others when it's time for them to be human.

I hate when one person on the damn team kills himself, by jumping off a ledge or into water, insta-killing them self. And if that's not the worst part, the other team who just saw that shit, WON'T vote to go back to the lobby since they already won or loss depending on score/progress. Pfft people...

That's why you have friends you see in real life help you so then if they don't show you can punch them in the face for not showing.
