Looking back....
As I look at the games today, I find myself wondering what happened to those old and forgotten games.
In this topic, I'll be looking back at the games I grew up with and how they got me into video games today.
It all started when my dad got me a PS1.
I remembered playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Um Jammer Lammy, A Bug's Life, just to name a few....
Then there was a PS2; there were a lot a of games I loved on the PS2, they just seem to be forgotten these days.
What games do you remember growing up with?

Re: Looking back....
I got into games ridiculously late considering my age, but I still have fond memories of playing Pokemon Red and Blue on my gameboy colour, Pokemon Stadium, Super Smash Bros 64 and Mario Kart 64 around a friends house and Bloody Roar, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and Luigi's Mansion when I got my own first console, the Gamecube.
Anything with Pokemon, Dragonball Z, Mario or Sonic ended up getting played a ton by me, and it has to be said that Unreal Tournament and Left 4 Dead were the games that got me into FPS.

Glad to hear it!
The first game for the Nintendo 64 that got me interested in racing games was F-Zero X.
I loved that racing game, played at 60 frames a second, and is one of the fastest games I've ever played.

First things first is a topic dedicated to your gaming firsts iirc. This one's more about games you grew up with that made a lasting impression on you.
Technically different, I guess?

The first Soul Reaver on Playstation made me a man. I can't remember what year it came out, I think i was 8 or 9. I was shocked, stunned, appalled. You could even say i was flabbergasted.
