You are probably new to this game if you are complaining about dieing.
Dieing as infected is completely normal in versus.
Even the most expert of players get cheap killed.
You should search Youtube for these kind of videos.
There are several videos that give you tips on every single infected.

Ok i don't know if this is the right place to ask, but can i get the All 4 Dead achievement using 2 controllers/split screen versus? I suck as a tank! I can never incap all 4 survivors, it's always 1 or 2... i have tried MANY times in legit versus but always fail to get it...

Yes you can. I'd recommend Crash Course's finale for this one. Simply line the survivors up by the car and take them all out in a single car attack.

I agree with BillzNoLongerHere, thats the same way you get 20 car pile up.
