i had seen people playing it before. i was a little skeptical getting into the zombie theme mode but i had alot of excitement about left 4 dead 1, and honestly i haven't looked back a day. i have finished the game [achievement completion] at least twice, going for my third time on a newer gamertag, but i still play to this day and love every moment.

my friend introduced me to l4d back when it first came out and i thought it was gonna b scary as hell cause i was only like 10 or 11 but turned out i was better than him and he was 18

Around release i saw some trailers of it and though "meh, this is gonna suck". my opinion was reinforced when i looked up on the game a bit when i was bored, and the survivors sounded way to steriotypical to me. then my frined bought it, and brought it over to my house. I was hooked on it halfway through the intro video when i realized how awesome the 4 survivors actually were (especially Bill, my favorite character from the start). I traded him assassins creed for it, and i don't regret a thing. I've played it ever since, found a good XBL friend who also plays it, and jumped into L4D2 without so much as a backwards glance.
