With the DLC costing cash though for us Xbox users, I hope both versions are either included in the single DLC package, or at the very least compatible with one another.

If Valve release the other original campaigns for L4D2 will there even be a point in the first game?

Just gotta pray Bill's VA actually recorded some lines this time. I don't want him picking up a chainsaw and saying "I'm getting too old for this horseshit" AGAIN.

Yeah, I hope both come in a package as well. I'd like the option to play The Sacrifice with only L4D SI/Weapons along with the option to play with the L4D2 stuff. I doubt it will actually come in a pack, though. They should just have on DLC that works on both games.

You read my mind. I was thinking earlier today about writing an article about how this info for The Sacrifice means that L4D1 is dieing. I mean, they'll have all the L4D1 Survivors on L4D2 and they're already bringing over No Mercy. You have to assume they'll eventually bring over all the L4D1 campaigns. Now that they can bring out L4D1 DLC and let you play it on L4D2, they really have no point in supporting L4D1 except for the very few people who only have L4D1. I'm afraid of this because I sometimes I prefer playing L4D1 over L4D2. Even though the scoring system sucks, I like not having the Charger and Jockey which are incredibly laggy/glitchy if the servers are slow. I also just like the general feel of it. I mean you can tell a difference in the Hunter's pounce in the two games.

I'm not getting my hopes up for Bill to have lines. I bet he loses his voice in the first chapter and he becomes the sacrifice just because he can't say anything to object to it. LOL

i agree 110%. it's stupid, because l4d1 is SO much better. im aussie and i have shit servers here seriously cannot play l4d2 AT all, so i prefer the first one. VAVLe know this i think so thats why they are converting it onto l4d2. imo; i would much prefer l4d1 over l4d2.

Don't you think if they replaced Realism mode to L4d mode it would be better
Like :
Play all l4d campaigns/ in versus
Play as original l4d survivors
play only hunter, boomer, smoker.
with melee weopons of course and boomer bile
..... heaven

I'm throughly not opposed to the Spitter's existence as she does help negate the endless melee corner camping, but urgh. I don't know, I think this might be the end for the first game.

Actually, if they bring over Crash Course, hopefully they can at least improve it. Jeez.

and another 560 MP for the other version (L4D)

PC: Free DLC, Custom Maps,Mods,Console cheats
XBox: $20 worth of DLC, no Custom Maps , Banned if using Mods, No Console cheats

I wonder if valve is underestimating us.
