Okay, here's the thing. We all hate certain kinds people. In Xbox Live or in real life. They have certain personalities that we hate about them. My all time hated personality is by judging someone by their age.

So, I was playing l4d in No Mercy, sewers. We were winning by a long run. Then this guy ask me about my age. He heard me talk in the lobby but he didn't hear me talk when in the game. So I said 13
( I know I am under aged for this game, but I do not curse or anything so my parents know that I handle M games well, which I do ) Then he started saying that he hates annoying kids..... How am annoying.... I didn't talk and I have been doing better than him. 10 seconds later he votes to kick, surprisingly my other teammates voted no. After 5 second he left.

Then after he left he sent me a message that I can't/ not suppose to type in this topic.

I was 12 when I first played L4D1 and beat half the campaigns on expert so yeah screw him

I'm 24, so I'm too old for this convo.

However, I HATE annoying kids too. I'm talking about the one's who sing or talk innane nonsense whilst you're playing the game.

To be honest, hearing a squeaky pre-pubscent voice creep out of Francis' mouth is pretty undesirable and kills the mood. Not to be ageist(is that even a real word?), but it'd be better just NOT to talk for you young 'uns if you don't want any schtick about "annoying kids".

In this particular scenario however it sounds more like he felt dumb that a little kid was beating him on the scoreboard, which tbh is ridiculous. It's a co-op game guys.

Pretty much the same as Bill here, well except I'm 16 not 24. My voice is more on the deep end so no one asks my age and most are surprised when i tell them 16. But Kids that act like the typical kid, "loud squeaky voice, foul language and unheard of boasting" honestly need a swift punch in the face.

Ageist is a word... well I found Ageism so a person who is Ageism is an Ageist. Am I right ?

i agree with u i dont care about age or voice just as long as u can play the game and work with the team

I'm 15 (- 1 month) and have a pretty deep voice to and play the game like an adult, now i can't count how many times 11 year olds (and yes that's their exact age) mess things up they don't know how to play e.g they team kill alot think it's funny to try kick someone for no reason and sing/do annoying sounds on the mic. I think for a game like this you have to be in your teens at least.

There is no age limit for maturity. I feel the placement of an M on a game is just like the outrage parents had about parental advisory stickers on cds years ago; and while parents turn on those of us within the Mature demographic for our moral bankruptcy, they are letting their kids bump and grind pelvises to radio disney. My most annoying experiences have been with older players whom I know are in their mid-twenties and some of my most fun experiences have been with a cadre of squeaks backing me up.

Update : The guy that hated me is now my friend. @___@
Why you may ask ? because he had a bad day and some kids he played with kept trolling him in l4d ( Team killing, rushing, not sharing pills )
He assumed I was annoying kid that would troll him. A couple of weeks later he said sorry. At first I didn't know who he was but i remembered after wards.
I can't believe he still remembered me at the end.
Kinda feel awkward playing with him though.

Be acting like an adult i mean being respectful to other players and not singing on the mic anyone can do it.
