What are everyone's opinions on The Sacrifice?

I personally am very excited for No Mercy on Left 4 Dead 2, and the new campaign. Although I do suspect that the new campaign, like the others, will not be very good for verses.

Why wouldn't it be good for Versus? VALVe is making it very clear there are plenty of good hunter leap points and I think the the new style finale will be interesting in Versus.

Im gonna have to agree with Zach here Valve has made a ton points about how its gonna be good for versus. And besides a new campaign means new tactics for versus.

I agree with both zach and sinistrbetrayal valve has said all the things they both have said (im just not gonna retype it) the new versus with the sacrifice is going to be interesting.

One of the big problems with the DLC campaigns for verses that they are only 2 or 3 levels long. You need at least 4 or 5 levels to get a good idea of which team is better. Also, most players prefer shorter levels (especially for verses).

That's true, but on the other end, we get a new style finale.

VALVe has said the levels in Sacrifice are longer that previous DLC. It could work if they balance them out with smart item placement (unlike The Parish 4 which nobody ever gets through).

I know short campaigns aren't well-received, but I personally don't have a problem with them. It's nice to have a shorter campaign if you don't have an hour to play or if you just know you don't feel like playing for that long.

I can't wait for it. From what i've heard, it's going to be the best DLC yet (in all, at least), plus the originals are getting a comeback! (except for bill, more like his own personal "finale") I'm not really a big versus player, but vs sounds good to, so i'll be trying that out.

All in all, from what i've heard, this is gonna be the best DLC yet.

Ya its crap...no idea when it came out officially..was most likely sleeping unless it came out a few minutes before 6am.. :0
