The Sacrifice - kill all tanks?

What happens if you kill all four tanks after triggering the bridge? Can all four survive? Has anyone tried this?

Nothing happens really. I haven't seen all 4 tanks die, but I've thrown the molotov at them, and that seems to be the best way to get to the sacrifice generator. Even if you were to kill all 4 tanks, it could be that 4 new ones spawn, and all you can do is be the sacrifice. There is no other option.

well, i am going to try to see if i can kill them all. i have been able to kill three of them so far on easy. btw- they are more difficult than the other ones (between normal and advanced difficulty). I'll let you know what happens.
