Downloadable Content

So, does anyone remember discussion of officially porting the original L4D's campaigns to L4D2?
How about Valve claiming they'd still be updating L4D alongside L4D2?

It's crackpot theory time!:

With the Passing bringing Bill, Francis, Louis and Zoey to Left 4 Dead 2, and talk of updates to the original, does anyone else perhaps think that they won't be porting the levels at all, but rather considering adding an additional level to L4D which would have some connection to Coach, Nick, Ellis and Rochelle, possibly as potentially playable characters?

The original game is still amazingly expensive everywhere I see it, and
I honestly expected a drop in price when the sequel came out, so with
that in mind, I'd presume the price has stuck because the original game
IS still going to get some variety of DLC, which could be something as
simple as another "The Passing" that officially connects the two games,
potentially taking place after Blood Harvest.

Thoughts on possible future DLC?

(also, hands up who thought this would be about Crash Course sucking?)

I think it would be cool if they came out with The Passing on L4D2 AND L4D. Since it has all 4 survivors, why not make it available for both games? Then people playing L4D could play with people playing L4D2 as long as they did The Passing campaign. Of course, those of us who own L4D and L4D2 would only have to pay for one copy of The Passing.

On another note...my friends and I were playing Swamp Fever last night which we hadn't played in a while and we realized something. You end Dead Center in a helicopter and start Swamp Fever in a train. Then we remembered that The Passing is to take place in between the two. So now we're predicting that The Passing will start off at the crashed helicopter and end with a huge Train being the rescue vehicle.
