Those Games
There are some of those games that are your personal favorite and you probably wont change your mind about.
For example my personal favorite is The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion theres so many things in there that I've done and even though I've had it since it came out I could still play that for hours on end.

They were always big faves for me! I was a bit disappointed when they tried to do online VS. It didn't really work out too well. Once someone got hold of the homing mines or some other of the absurd guns it would get kind of crappy. They also released a game that was almost exclusively fighting arenas. It was small on content but big on fun!!!

For Xbox: Other than L4D; Team Fortress 2, Batman Arkham Asylum and Resident Evil 5.
On Wii: Super Smash Bros. Brawl, No More Heroes.
A lot of people hated Resident Evil 5, but I found it quite enjoyable. Granted though I usually prefer Multiplayer games to singleplayer, and I had a decent person to play as my Sheva. I hear the AI for her was pretty bad.

I didn't like that game bacause I've played all the other Resident Evil games and the story for this one was a little weak.....

and tetris. too much tetris. I keep telling myself "just one more level", 5 hours later my eyes are bloodshot, it's midnight, and when i close my eyes i still see blocks falling

I prefer the original style. The first three (along with the spinoffs) were real survival horror, 4 and 5 feel like shooting galleries.Silent Kill 493 wrote:I didn't like that game bacause I've played all the other Resident Evil games and the story for this one was a little weak.....

Re: Those Games
the fourth one actually had a horror feel to it but other than that it was just a shooter
Most people I know that like 4&5 dont like any of the first ones

I fit in that catogary. I preferred the controls, the script was better in the latter ones and the gameplay in general. I honestly feel change here was a good thing.

Meh, to each his own. You gotta admit though, Silent Hill nailed the horror aspect better than most, if not all, survival horror/horror games.BillzHere wrote:Silent Kill 493 wrote:

Dude, play Morrowind. I've had that game for 5 years and I've never finished the main story. People were intimidated when they first played through it because the game basically gives you no direction after character creation, whereas Oblivion throws you into the main quest.Silent Kill 493 wrote:

Agreed. 100%. Silent Hill is the king of survival horror. Or at least it's up there. I heard Eternal Darkness was pretty good for psychological shocks, but I never got to play it.
Quick subject change: What was everyone's first game? (in b4 everyone played Pong or space invaders first)
Sonic 2 was the first I got to play. Tails is officially my first video game character, and as such I have a soft spot for the two tailed fox. Alex Kidd was the first game I ever saw played in full however. Was pretty heavily into Sega as a kid.
