Achievement not registering?

Left 4 Dead has some odd moments regarding achievements not registering, but I've had mine register in game!

Okay, so this has been bothering me for some time now. I currently have 48 achievements successfully done according to Left 4 Dead 2's achievement list, but in the main menu under my games it only says I've done 47 of them.

Is there anyway to make it register the missing achievement, or am I going to be permenantly unable to get 100% completion rate now?

I think it may be Bridge over Trebled Slaughter. At first I thought it may be the Tank Burger one, since the game randomly glitched and gave it to me, but I was playing splitscreen with my sister at that point, and she got it too. She's still got her Tank Burger, so I'm going to guess Bridge.

Also, does the Expert glitch still work? I tried it today with some friends, and although one made it, he didn't recieve the achievement. Not been a patch recently has there?

There has not been a patch and the next update won't be until The Passing comes out. Make sure you do it on Local Host and follow all the tips we have on the page. If you still have trouble, let me know and I'll help you out.

You know what's weird, I've been trying to get 20 car pile-up, and not a single car has been registered yet. I've done this about 5 times, and not a single car was registered. No, it's not because I was sucking. I was the Tank, hit the survivors with the car, and not a single registered car.

Was this offline? I got three today in splitscreen for my sister, so I can confirm that the cars SHOULD still be registering.

Yeah the cars weren't registering for me either. I was playing local and used a car and a dumpster and it still says I have 0 out of 20.

I managed to get all 20 cars for the achievement, and they were all offline. Luckily they should be registering now without a problem.
