Untouchables Achievement

Me and a couple of my friends/L4D teammates have been attempting to get this achievement for some time now, we have gone through dead air on easy and gone through the finale checking our health first and not taking damage the rest of the chapter getting on the plane still taking no damage, but the achievement has yet to pop up. Does anyone have any tips or hints that might be able to help us out we've tried it with 3 people and a bot and 4 people. Does friendly fire count even though it's on easy and no damage is dealt to the other person? Is there any glitch that is either stopping us or that we can use?

Yes, Friendly Fire DOES count regardless of difficulty. This achievement is one of the hardest in the game. But never fear; BillzHere.

And as a matter of fact, I do have one REALLY easy way to do this, providing you don't mind a cheeky glitch:

For this glitch you will need the following:
-Dead Air Finale
-2 luggage carriers
-Prefferably 3 human partners(if one's a bot, change to expert and kill them PRIOR to this glitch. The bot WILL NOT follow you, and has a nasty habit of getting in the way of you moving the luggage carriers. Outta the way Louis!)
-Pipebombs
-Gas Tanks/oxygen tanks
-Some sort of skill at platform games

In front of the your escape plane there's a truck. Next to the truck is a luggage carrier on wheels. This will be your platform to get onto the plane. There's another a little behind it. You'll need both for this.

Now how to move it:
Pick up a gas canister or oxygen tank(should be plenty around) and throw it into the luggage carrier.
Upon doing so move into the luggage carrier.
You'll very(very very VERY) slowly, but surely move it.
Now, place one next to the truck and rinse and repeat with the other plutting it in front of plane's nose to create two platforms between the truck and plane.
Clamber onto the truck and leap from it's roof onto the first luggage carrier, onto the next and then onto the nose of the plane.
From here, walk up into the middle of the plane which is arguably the safest place to stay to avoid Smoker tongues.


May take a few attempts to get the carriers moving and to line your makeshift platforms up correctly, so don't alert the horde until this is done. Once this is done, everyone get onto the plane, with one person(prefferably the one who is best at jumping across; do some test runs first) jumping down to activate the pump, run back to the truck, climb onto the roof and Mario hop your way across onto the plane. Gather with your friends and get ready to spam Melee on one another in fear of rogue Smokers dragging you off.

Smoker's are about ALL that can get you up here, however so relax about that bad ol' Tank.
The Tank should auto-die, as this is a jesus spot, and the horde may not even spawn.
Make sure you have some pipe bombs ready just in case.
When the plane opens, head to the tail of the plane. This bit isn't solid, and you should fall through directly in front of the door.
Pipebomb to keep hordes away and be vigilant for any special infected. Last thing you need is a Smoker pulling you out the plane, being blinded by a Boomer or Huntered at the last second. Everyone get in.

Another achievement unlocked without hopefully too much trouble.

We highly recommend using the Jesus Rock glitch. Yes, the rock is far away from the rescue boat, but as long as you have pipebombs, you'll be fine. This is how we got it and it was pretty easy.

BillzHere do I have to kill the Bot before I start moving the cart? and if I do will he stay gone throughout the rest of the chapter?

If you kill the bot he will be gone through the rest of the chapter. If he's hit after the finale starts however then he'll be responsible for stopping you get the achievement.

I'd recommend killing him prior to the cart moving, purely because they have a habit of standing in the way and stopping you moving it.

Jesus Rock also works, but the Tank's rocks and the occasional Hunter can still get you in my experiences. Also Smoker's have just as easy a time ruining your life.
