Hey, I'm new to this, so I guess I'm doing it right lol... Anyways, I need help with Dark Carnival on expert, for "Still Something to Prove". It's the last one I need for the achievement and the last achievement I need for L4D2. I know how to do the glitch, but the people who helped me with the others can't finish the final on this one. Any help would be great.

Which glitch are you talking of sir?

The Expert Glitch or the Jesus Plywood?

The expert glitch, where you do the whole thing on easy then leave and wait till they tell you to join again, when they have finished and changed difficulty to expert... lol but i know how to do the other one also.

Way easier to do pistol glitch. Everyone gets the acheivement and only one time through, guarenteed to work.

Nope. Not going to do it either. Not very many know it or use it. Dont want it patched. If you need help I can show you how to do it in a game, but not going to post it. Add me as a friend. Will be on in the evening tomorrow after I get off the lake. LubricantCobra

Oh wait.

Is this the one where you lag out the game by switching pistols and melee weapons?

It doesn't work on certain levels from what I've seen (Dead Center 3 for example)

Yes. It works on every level. You just have to know how to do it properly and have teammates that will carry what you tell them to through each level

I thought it only worked if there was a melee weapon or pistol hanging around the saferoom? Hmmm...this has picqued my interest.

I'll help you out aswell and it would be nice if you could help me out with the same thing since i only need 3 achievments which are the 2 expert ones and the bridge achievment. Ive done this tactic before so i know what im doing.

Ill be willing to help anyone else with this so we can form up a team with my boyfriend and myself and kill some zombies Smile

there is an easier way to do dark carnival. if you do the chapters 1-4 on easy then leave the game at the saferoom of chapter 5, the other player(s) go into the statiumand kill all the zombies, then change it to expert before starting it. the other player(s) joins back and go onto the plywood and the best person well turn it on and run to the plywood, make sure to kill all the bots. this does work i tried it with my friend. and have adrenaline.
